Smokin' Ribs With Rib Rubbin' Rub and Beast Mode BBQ Sauce

Do you know what time it is?

Who doesn't love a BBQ? Growing up in Florida, in the summer the neighborhood always smelled like BBQ. And depending where you were in the neighborhood you'd likely smell something very different.
Down at Mr. Goff's house, you'd smell the familiar smell of hamburgers and hotdogs, but as soon as you reach the street, you'll know you are by Mr. and Mrs. Crafts house, because they broke out that smoker early and got the mullet smoking and you aren't getting too far before they invite you over to have an oyster freshly shucked. Keep on walking because those smells are pulling you down to the Jones' house. Mr. Jones started that whole hog late last night on the pit and you can just smell that sweet scent teasing your nose.
I miss all those smells roaming the neighborhood like a gang of flavorful aromas, stalking the streets.

I still love to break out the ole charcoal grill, or smoker. Last weekend I smoked some baby back ribs using my rub and topping it off with my favorite BBQ sauce.

Ingredients:

1 rack of baby back ribs.
1 good amount of Rib Rubbin' Rub
16 oz Beast Mode BBQ Sauce

Directions

The night before you plan on cooking, make your Rib Rubbin' rub and Beast Mode BBQ Sauce.
Click here for recipes. Take the full rack of ribs and cover completely with the Rib Rubbin' Rub. Just when you think you put enough on each side, add a little more ( It will absorb into the meat). Place the seasoned ribs into the refrigerator over night.

Set up your smoker. I like to use apple wood. Apple, pear, or cherry will work fine. Heat to 225 degrees.

Place ribs on the open rack and cook for 2.5 hours.
At 2.5 hours pull ribs off smoker and wrap with aluminum foil and place back into smoker for 2.5 hours more.

After ribs have cooked in foil for 2.5 hours remove from smoker and preheat oven to 450.
Remove the ribs from foil and place on to baking sheet. Brush with all of the BBQ sauce until completely covered on all sides.

Place ribs into oven and cook for 15 minutes or until BBQ sauce is lightly browned.
Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes.

Now, this is the most important part...

Get up dance! You just made the best pork ribs of your life!
